“Sometimes real superheros live in the hearts of small children fighting big battles.”

Children are worth fighting for, and it’s an honor to be their champion. For 13 years I served as a teacher in special education. As a second grader, I struggled with dyslexia. I understand how hard it can be for students and families to get the support they need. My mom did not know how to advocate for me; she simply trusted the school system. Having this experience inspired me to give students and families the support and guidance that I never received. That is the mission of ADVOC8.
